"It is only by the exercise of reasoning, that man can discover God." Thomas Paine
Meaning, without reasoning faith is blind.
"Reason is God's crowning gift to man." Sophocles

"I think all the great religions of the world - Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, and Communism - all untrue and harmful. It is evident as a matter of logic that, since they disagree, not more than one of them can be true." Bertrand Russell

WHY GROPE FEEBLY IN THE DARK?

OF
THE ONE TRUE RELIGION

A definition will let us determine what is true.
A definition will also let you know that this site has been helpful to you.
The definition: all theories or facts, theological and/or scientific, must be in harmony with reasoning and science, and in conformity with natural laws.

REASON
How can it be that difficult to
reason out of nothing, nothing can come; nothing can be made without a maker; neither can knowledge be acquired without a teacher nor incest (Cain's wife, his sister) the origin of human population? And is it not an injustice to change the rule (mode of worship) during the game (of human creation)?

SCIENCE
"Science without religion is lame - after religious teachers accomplish the refining process indicated they will surely recognize with joy that true religion has been ennobled and made more profound by
scientific knowledge - religion without science is blind." Einstein [the 6,000-year-old creation, revolving sun and stationary flat-earth theories are all highly erroneous]

NATURAL LAWS
The dripping tap is significant of the decadence of universal righteousness from the (first) age of pristine purity. The constant reviling and rejection of the one true religion has now reduced it to a mere trickle in this present age (last), humbly bowing to the dictates of
natural laws, where all things created (finite) must decay or die - as progression is always downward. What is, was, and will be - the resurrection of the dead, virgin birth and other miracles and myths, the rapture, and the promises of eternal heaven on earth (earth without end) and paradise of virgins, rivers of milk, wine and honey, and the EVOLUTION of man from a lower creature, have all found themselves in violation of these laws. (Stephen Hawking with only a dim understanding of natural laws) Eternal means "without beginning or ending". To put it bluntly, whatever has a beginning, has an end (decay, die or dissolve), and most important, finite actions of the soul, virtuous or sinful, cannot reap eternal rewards or punishment!

"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful." Seneca - Roman philosopher
The huge efforts of philanthropy, religion, science and political governance have failed to find a solution for global warming, population explosion, wars and famine, poverty and destitution, diseases, natural calamities, greed, corruption and the worst of all miseries - BOREDOM.
The answer is right here - the return to the practice of the one true religion.

"You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free."
Be ready to instantly reject any ideology you hold and see yourself as a child, inquisitive, honest and innocent, free of prejudice and bigotry, in pursuit of this truth as Albert Einstein rightly explains it:
"I'm not an atheist, and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws." The search for truth begins with a functional intellect.

"Philosophy and reason will remain the most beautiful sanctuary they have always been for the select few." Einstein

When only a "select few" enjoy sanctuary from boredom, the worst daily discomfort facing humankind, what is obvious for the rest?

"Retirement is a death sentence." Merv Griffin
Is retirement harmful?
In my old age I am enjoying the state of sarvitarka samadhi. It is not retirement that is harmful, it is ignorance.

Many skeptics are often asked the question, "what if you're wrong?" The quote below answers the question.

Ambalika: I lead a contented life with pretty good karma and I don't see any need to bicker over semantics, Vj
Vj ~ Me too! But when I extended my knowledge to action, I found a lot more of interest. If past "good karma" gave me such a wonderful life why not investigate it further for the benefit of future births to come.

I don't believe in converting folk, Vj,
Vj ~ This is not about converting, this is about ingraining good reasoning habits. The freedom to think! Unless you think it is ok to remain gullible where you're constantly being screwed over and over by every Tom, Dick and Harry that comes along. - Vedantism is Hinduism

Einstein: "What I most admire about your art, is your universality. You don't say a word, yet the world understands you!"
Chaplin: "True. But your glory is even greater! The whole world admires you, even though they don't understand a word of what you say."
Vj: "Science without religion is lame; ...." Einstein
Scientist L. Krauss: "It is not clear what he meant by that."

Jain master ~ It is a fault your god made people ignorance. This is an injustice which cannot be the work of a just, compassionate and merciful god.
Vj ~ He made you wealthy......, isn't that just, compassionate and merciful?

Jain master ~ No. He did not make me wealthy. A good degree and a life-time of a career with much enthusiasm made me wealthy.
Vj ~ And could it not be the opposite, no degree, a life-time of laziness or wasted opportunities and no enthusiasm "made people" ignorant?

"Those who are looking for a solution will find this site an eye-opener. It will help people to look at themselves and realize that they have been deluding themselves for so long. Some people will turn away in anger, others in turmoil, some with gratitude or appreciation, and some will just enjoy this brief moment and continue their journey into eternity. You are a humble man, and earnest too, and your message will reach into the minds and hearts of even more people if they readily perceive your selflessness." Your well-wisher, Arya Putra

"Vj, I just want you to know, that despite the fact that we disagree here and there, I like you. Fundamentally, you bode no ill will towards anyone, and there's a lot to be said for that."; Valender

Thank you, Vijai. From the bottom of my bleeding heart. Knowing you has made me a better person. I hope that my experience will help others here to take an honest look at themselves and how they feel about you. You are often a cruel teacher, but sometimes the lessons demand it. Jess
