Islam is a religion that has shown tremendous growth and is the fastest-growing doctrine in the world today. This again points to the direction of the decay of civilization as the Law of Nature dictates, through the objective means of unrighteousness. Among Muslims, there are strong differences of opinion regarding the interpretation of certain words and verses. As a result, they divide themselves into many opposing sects, yet all are agreed as to the revealed character of the Koran (see Chapter 14) One can attest to this by the sectarian violence in the Islamic countries. The Shiite and Sunni are the two main opposing sects that make up the religion of Islam. Like Christianity, it contains many dogmas and beliefs accepted by Muslims who believe implicitly in the Holy Koran (Yusuf Ali's Translation) which says: - "Those who reject our signs, we shall soon cast them into the fire. As soon as their skins are wasted through; we shall change them for fresh skins that they may taste the penalty, for God is exalted in power wise....�." (Vol. 1 Pg. 197)"Verily God has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire.
To dwell therein forever, no protector will they find." (Vol. 3 Pg. 1121) "The day that their faces will be turned upside down in a fire, they will say:-
"Woe to us, would that we had obeyed God and obeyed the Apostle." (Vol.3 Pg.1121) Such intolerant teachings can never be a true revelation by a Just, Merciful and Compassionate God. Since Allah's revelation did not take place at the beginning of creation. He alone is responsible for creating unbelievers and therefore, is erroneous and iniquitous of Him to ask believers to correct His mistakes by waging war. "O ye who believe! Fight the Unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that God is with those who fear Him. See they not that they are tried every year once or twice? Yet they turn not in repentance and they take no heed." Sura.9: 123,126. These teachings, advocating the destruction of one's friend are in total defiance of all noble instincts. The Koran is teaching the Muslims to fight with their neighbors, to wage war against them and slaughter them wherever they like in the name of Allah. The puritanical Islamic teachings with no exposure to other ideologies are the true product of extreme fanaticism. The killing machine of men who shows no mercy to even their own has become the most feared the world has ever known. They are unstoppable martyrs beckoning the Koran's sacred welcoming-followers called "Jihad" or "holy war." The abominable Islamic leaders are usually sequestered from these bloody actions, but their ruthless command is deadlier than the sword itself. The brutality in the Ottoman and Mogul era is extremely depressive to be reminded of. Millions of men, women and children in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East met their death or suffered mentally and physically at the hands of the tyrannical Muslim invaders. India was no exception to this barbarity where Hinduism was crushed by the deadly force of Islam. Their books were burnt and rewritten and their temples demolished or turned into Mosques. The THE TAJ MAHAL was such a temple. Islamic law encourages men to have more than one wife.The world has a population of five billion seven hundred and fifty million people and is rising by one hundred and twenty million a year (UN report dec. 1995). There are already too many people. Encouraging everyone to convert to Islam will definitely be catastrophic. Do the Muslim scholars and their Koran have an answer to a population explosion? Construing that God will send his last revelation to encourage the imminent destruction of His creation in such a manner is preposterous. In the Paradise of Islam, the males are promised virgins. How did the virgins get there? What did Allah promise the women when they go to Paradise? They get 1/72th of a man. It seems to me, that the reward for women in the Muslim's paradise will be worse than on earth, where at least they get 1/4 of a man. In every corner of the Islamic world there are myriads of mosques. Muslims are in prayers (five times or more daily) more than any other faith groups in the world today; and their explanation of the word "Islam" means "peace". The Koran teaches that, for each time of prayer, peace is multiplied tenfold yet they rarely enjoy any peace. Their dilemma seems to be worst than the unbelievers. Since one's religion can be blasphemed or be desecrated, how can anyone of any faith enjoy true inner happiness when there is anger ? There is no doubt that the Q'uran does not have some truth. These few truths allowed for the peaceful co-existence among the believers. But, on the other hand, when it is tainted with so many untrue and intolerant teachings it will sporadically bring chaos to that peaceful coexistence. There is no shortages of these proven events throughout Muslim history. Islam is claimed to be monotheists and free of idol worship. If it is so why do millions go to Mecca and prostrate themselves before a big black rock? The idol-worshipers by facing their image use the same method. The only difference is their images are small and that of Islam is one huge one, a gift they claim was sent by the Angel Gabriel . It is the belief that every Muslim must go to Haj, if they can afford it, at least once in his lifetime. If this facilitates a definite ascension to Paradise, then millions of poor Muslims no matter how devoted they are will be stranded. Favoring the privileged few is unjust of a Merciful and Compassionate God who denies the destitute majority. The millions who have made the pilgrimage to Mecca laud themselves of the divine bliss in which they were immersed in. However, this cannot be held to be true for those who have suffered miserably by many tragic events that occur during haj. Credulity has a marvelous way of exciting an artificial divine passion among the millions of white-robed believers. The question is, can the same hold for small gathering Islam, which Muslims deemed a 'perfect religion', cannot bring peace and harmony to the world when believers, the prophet Mohammed and their God can be offended.One man, unknown to most of the world, by the stroke of a pen, shook the very foundation of the 'true religion.' This religion followed by almost 20 percent of the world's population was enraged by Solomon Rushdie's Satanic Verses. The realities of desert conditions that circumvent the revelation of the KORAN [more on the Islam]
must be brought to bear for what they were really were. There were major shortages of basic necessities of water and food (vegetables and fruits) for the inhabitants of the desert of Arabia. The ignorant were easily misguided by those who could offer them, not only the basics but any other means of luxury. Lastly, to begin with, a truly pious man would have had to seek deep spiritual guidance in God to receive a revelation. This method would have required a lot of time, almost a whole life-time of abstinence materialistic and sensual activities, to stay focus on meditative self-realization. It is absolutely amazing how this illiterate, lustful and epileptic pedophilia Muhammad could have tended to so many concubines, cheating on so many wives - one his own daughter-in-law and another only a child nine years old, be engaged in so many bloody battles, count his spoils and still had time to receive revelation.

The Europeans are from the womb of Sarah, and you from that of Hajra. How can, then, there be any doubts as to your being dasiputra?" Qazi - "This is nowhere written in the Quran." Swami Dayanand ~ "(Producing the Quran) read the Sura Ankbut (Spider) which says that Ismail was born of Hajra." Quazi - "She was originally a slave-girl, but she had come to be married to Abrahim." Swami Dayanand ~ "If she was really a slave-girl, then how can it be doubted that you are dasiputra (children of a slave-girl)? No reply, and the Quazi, with his admirers, went his way.

He raped a Jewish girl 40 years younger than him whom he captured in one of his raids on the same day that he killed her husband, her father and many of her relatives. (*)
He enriched himself by looting caravans, killing the men, usurping their properties and SELLING their wives and daughters as slaves.
After his affluent wife died and after he enriched himself with spoils of his wars on defenseless people, he broke the boundaries of decency and performed sex with twenty women, some only 9 years old, some he married, some he captured in wars, somewhere his slaves and maidservants and some just offered themselves to him. He did not spare even the beautiful wife of his own adopted son.
He founded a religion that has brought nothing but hatred and discord between his followers (among themselves) and his followers and the rest of mankind. So much war, so many killings that took place in the name of Islam and are taking place still in various corners of the world.
He heralded a misogynistic religion that has undermined the rights of women and subjected them to mistreatment and abuse.
As I write these notes, a couple of Muslims are being prosecuted for blowing the Pan Am flight killing 280 innocent people and ruining the lives of 280 families. While the accused deny the charges and blame the Palestinians for this cowardice attack, we have to question ourselves, where these Islamic terrorists, that is now burgeoning from the Philippines to Timor, from Malaysia to Afghanistan, from Iran to Libya, from Canada to the USA, got their inspiration to kill? Do you think that Islam has nothing to do with that? There are many verses of the Quran that encourage the believers to kill non-believers. In Islam, the end justifies the means.
Modernist Muslims prefer to live in denial than come to terms with the fact that the Quran is responsible for all these atrocities perpetrated by Muslims. They call for peace, tolerance, and freedom of speech. They condemn the extremists and the fundamentalists for misinterpreting Quran. Yet they are the ones who are misinterpreting it and are not willing to let go of the book that promotes war, hatred, and suffocation of thoughts.
It is time that we questioned ourselves when we accept Islam as a legitimate religion, aren't we promoting a doctrine that produces terrorists? What we THINK Islam is, is irrelevant, what we WANT Islam to be is inconsequential. What REALLY Islam is, matters.
Islam is not a religion that promotes peace. It orders its believers to kill all those who do not accept its dogma, without mercy. It instructs its followers to subdue the Christians and the Jews and make them pay Jizyah (a penalty tax).
Islam is not a religion that promotes the equality of genders. Muhammad said women are deficient in intelligence, that the majority of them go to hell because they are disobedient to their husbands, that they should be beaten if they fail to please their husbands.
Islam is not a religion that promotes equality for all humanity. It clearly regards non-Muslims as second-class citizens and for those who are not either Jews or Christians, it prescribes death. It also allows slavery.
Islam is not a religion that promotes freedom of thought and speech. It curtails the right of all non-Muslims to teach their religion, congregate, and celebrate their belief. It instructs killing all those who decide to break rank and think freely and independently. "Those that the Muslims killed were not really killed by them. It was Allah who did the killing. If what I write offends you, it is not because there is anything offensive in my writings. It is because we Muslims have been cocooned in lies for so long that now the light of truth is blinding us. Religion is compared to opium and we are so much intoxicated by it that any attempt to wean us from it will be faced with hostility and anger.
I am not attacking or insulting my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters. They are in my blood and I am in theirs. I am trying to wake them up, to shake them up, to bring them to their senses and show them the hidden and dark side of Islam. I don't do that because I want to hurt them, I do that because I love them. Because our peace and security, our prosperity and happiness, our unity and integration with the rest of our brothers and sisters in humanity cannot be achieved as long as we are cocooned in the lies of Islam and shackled in hate towards those who do not agree with us..

Vj ~ This verse indeed has good merits but when there are many others in the very Q'uran that contradict it, then it is bound to produce ignorant people who can't tell the difference. Even Muhammad did not understand the meaning of this verse, otherwise, he himself would have neither resorted to polygamy, adultery and killing nor incite others to do the same.
Animals have souls also, and killing them to appease the appetite also spells death (pain and misery) for the human soul. Furthermore, if the Qur'an is indeed God's revelation, then He has unjustly deprived millions in remote regions (Incas, Mayans, etc.) who killed, not knowing anything of the "corruption done".
Now the question of the origin of the soul must be considered if one must understand the quote itself. If the soul was created then it must die, since only that which is eternal (without beginning and without end) cannot perish. According to natural laws, only Allah is eternal, everything else, Islam, Muhammad and all souls, earth, paradise, virgins, rivers of wine, milk, and honey, etc. must perish.

It seems to me, non-muslims have a better idea of what peace truly is since it is mainly Muslims all over the world who are engaged or affected by these atrocities .
Abu Aadam: Therefore, the inhumane and horrific events at the World Trade Center which caused innocent casualties - including many Muslim victims - is clearly, without a doubt, completely un-Islamic.
Vj ~ According to the Q'uran, it is rather difficult to figure out what action is "un-Islamic. The Islamic terrorists following the instructions of the Q'uran achieved martyrdom by killing infidels (non-muslims) much the same as Muhammad did against the Jews. On the other hand, if they went to hell, then the Muslim victims of WTC disaster should be in Paradise which is not un-islamic.Abu Aadam: However, it should be noted that the actions of an individual or a small group do not necessarily represent the beliefs of a particular religion, nor is that religion responsible for such actions.

A man (Muhammad) who had nine wives, (one only 6 years old, and his own daughter-in-law), an adulterer (Abraham), seducing his housemaid, and a murderer (Moses) can hardly be called men of gentle disposition, much less noble characters. Nobility brings harmony and since they didn't have it, it is quite certain by committing or being subjected to the constant acts of tyranny and barbarism that their followers are terribly lacking nobility.Abu Aadam: In reality, Islam not only condemns terrorism and suicide missions but also prohibits them completely.

Such barbaric actions started from the inception of Islam 1400 years ago and it is still going on. So when do you hope not to see "its like again"? Besides what else can "yellow journalism" report if there are only Islamic unrests (Indonesia, Kashmir, Chechyna, Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Iraq, etc.) to report?Abu Aadam:
It is also unfortunate that harassment of various kinds (including shootings, beatings, stone-throwing, robberies, vandalism, death threats, and hate language) has occurred against innocent Muslims resident in the United States - the elderly, women, and children alike.
Vj ~ The question is if they are innocent why is Allah allowing these harassments of the innocent to happen? It is also unfortunate that non-muslims suffer worst in Islamic countries where no one is even allowed to speak out. Be happy at least, that here you can do so and it won't fall on deaf ears. You can even criticize religion without the fear of being sentenced to death for it.Abu Aadam: In addition, Islamic places of worship and Muslim owned businesses have now become the targets of some people's anger and ignorance, just as the American people had become the targets of the anger and ignorance of the perpetrators of the World Trade Center attacks. Such bigotry and hatred are inhumane and unjustified.
Vj ~ Are you that blind that you can't see the blame is still that of the Q'uran which started all these commotions? As long as Muslims (male) are led to believe that 72 virgins are up for grabs in Paradise for the act of killing infidels (non-muslims) there will be no end to "bigotry and hatred" of the worst kinds.
Abu Aadam: We denounce the killing of innocent civilians in the United States, just as we have patiently for many years denounced the killing of innocent civilians in Bosnia, Chechnya, Kashmir, Palestine, India, and other countries.
Vj ~ Such denunciations haven't work for 1400 years so why not denounced the Q'uran for a while and let's see the outcome.Abu Aadam: May God, Almighty, the One without any associates or partners in His Divinity, guide us all to the Truth and spread peace throughout the earth. Ameen.
Vj ~ If the "Almighty" you speak of is Allah, then he does have a partner, Muhammad who sits next to Allah and decides who gets into paradise. Muhammad received Allah's revelation, therefore he is an associate (mediator) and frankly speaking there was no peace in Arabia during his time and 1400 years since. Ayodhya excavation report says temple existed under mosque

In a potentially conflict-ridden report submitted here, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has concluded that a Hindu temple existed under the debris of the razed Babri mosque in Ayodhya.
The ASI submitted its 574-page report, on the vexed question of whether a temple existed at the site of the 16th-century Babri mosque, to the special bench of the Allahabad High Court here Friday, but the report was opened only Monday.
Said ASI counsel Ravi Mehrotra: "It was amply clear from the report that a huge 10th-century structure with features resembling Hindu temples existed at the disputed site before the Babri mosque was erected in the 16th century."
The report stated, "... taking into account the archaeological evidence of a massive structure along with the yield of stone and decorated bricks as well as a mutilated sculpture of divine couple and carved architectural members... are indicative of remains which are distinctive features found associated with the temples of North India."
"It was over the top of this construction during the early 16th century the disputed structure was constructed directly resting over it," the report added. The special bench -- comprising Justices Rafat Alam, Bhanwar Singh and Khem Karan - gave all the parties six weeks to file their objections, following which hearings would resume in the half-a-century old litigation. While the Hindu rightwing Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) welcomed the report, the Babri Masjid Action Committee (BMAC) was highly critical. Rejecting the findings of the report, BMAC convenor and counsel for Sunni Central Waqf Board Zafaryab Jilani said: "I find the report self-contradictory and erroneous." Jilani had expected the report to contradict the Muslim claim and had already started preparing his objections well before the findings were made public. "Our experts are already on the job and we will file our objections to the report," he told IANS. But the VHP was jubilant.
"The ASI was assigned to carry out a fact-finding mission, which has proved our contention that a temple did exist well before the mosque was built by Mughal emperor Babur," said VHP counsel G.P. Verma. Verma went on to add: "With this foolproof evidence, Muslims ought to abdicate their claim to the site as the holy Quran itself does not permit construction of a mosque on any disputed site." The ASI had undertaken the excavations from March 12 under the court's directions essentially to determine "whether there was any temple/structure which was demolished and a mosque was constructed on the disputed site". The excavations were finally concluded on August 7. The ASI submitted its report before the special court bench on August 22. However, the report was formally opened in the open court on Monday noon. The excavation team had dug 90 trenches, which unearthed remains of articles and artifacts belonging to different periods of time dating from the 1st century BC.

Is Islam the Black man's religion?
The color of one's skin has suddenly become relevant to religion.
Muslim activists have been trying to convince both native Africans
and African Americans that Islam is the religion of the black
man, that Islam is African and that Mohammed was black. Needless
to say, Muslims only make these claims to Blacks; among Whites,
they take a different approach! Knowing that these are well-thought-out
falsifications, intended only to draw blacks towards Islam, I
felt compelled to set the facts straight. Nothing in this article
is meant to lend approval to this racial approach. If we are to
accept or reject Islam, it should be based on Islam's own merits,
rather than color or origin. We should judge a tree by its fruit,
not by the label someone puts on it. The main source of information
for this article is the Quran translated by Abdullah Yusuf Ali,
and the "Hadith", the deeds and words of Mohammed the
prophet of Islam, as recorded by Sahih al Bukhary and Sahih Moslem.
Africa Was Not The Cradle Of Islam
Islam was born in the 7th century, in the Arabian Peninsula,
which is part of the continent of Asia. Yellow Asia and Black
Africa is separated by the Red Sea. Here we are talking about
two different continents and two different peoples. Islam went
to Africa relatively recently, and it is not the predominant religion
there. Africans were most likely either Christians or Animists
at the time they were brought to America. Christianity has been
present in Africa since the first half of the first century. St.
Mark, the writer of the Gospel of Mark, was a North African Jew
who preached the Gospel in Egypt. From there, Christianity spread
all over North Africa, and to the south of Egypt's borders. The
Eastern church raised to the level of sainthood many Africans
including St. Moses The Black from Egypt and St. Tekla Himanote
from Ethiopia. Eastern Africa was converted to Christianity through
the ministry of a cabinet member of Queen Candace of Ethiopia
who was baptized by St. Philip, one of Jesus' 12 disciples (Acts
8:26-40).
Mohammed Was Not A Black Man
Mohammed was a Asian-Arab. You can't confuse an Asian-Arab
with a Black African. There is numerous evidence that Mohammed
was actually white. The space limitation will allow us to mention
only a few: In Sahih Al Bukhary vol. 1 no. 63, we read " while
we were sitting with the Prophet, a man came and said, 'who amongst
you is Mohammed?' We replied, 'this white man reclining on his
arm..." In vol. 2, Hadith no. 122 refers to Mohammed as a
" white person" and in vol. 2, Hadith no 141 we are told
that when Mohammed raised his arms "the whiteness of his
armpits became visible."
Mohammed Owned Black Slaves
Mohammed referred to Blacks as slaves. He even owned several
black slaves. Bilal, Abu Hurairah, Usamah Ebn Zaayed, and a "Ghullaam"
(youth) named Rabbah, were among Mohammed's slaves. Even in modern
Saudi Arabia, the homeland of Islam, the common word for "Black"
is "Abd" meaning slave. What was Mohammed's position
on freeing the slaves? In one instance, a man freed a slave he
had kept as a sexual partner. When Mohammed heard what happened
he gained possession of the boy and sold him for 800 derhams to
Na-eem Ebn Abdullah Al-Nahham. (Sahih Moslem vol.7, pg. 83)
According to Mohammed, the punishment for committing adultery
is different between a free man, a free woman, and a slave woman.
The man is to be flogged with one-hundred stripes and be exiled
for one year. The free woman must be stoned to death. But the
slave woman (since she has a monetary value) will not be exiled
or killed, she is to be flogged one-hundred stripes. If the violation
is repeated the slave woman is to be sold. (Sahih Al Bukhary vol.
8:821 & 822)
The student of history will tell you that the Asian-Arabs were
the first and foremost slave traders. They were capturing and
selling Africans into slavery for hundreds of years before the
west joined them. In fact even today slavery continues to exist
in many parts of the Muslim world governed by "Sharia"
or Islamic law. It is reported by missionaries from South Africa
that as the civil war in Sudan continues, many of the Sudanese
Christians captured by the northern Muslim factions are being
sold as slaves into the Islamic world. (Peter Hammond-Front Line

Islam Looks Down On Blacks
Islam is a religion, whose sacred scriptures contain explicitly
denigrating remarks about Black people. Mohammed referred to Blacks
as " raisin heads". (Sahih Al Bukhary vol. 1, no. 662
and vol. 9, no. 256) In an authenticated Hadith, Mohammed is quoted
as saying; " Blacks will steal when hungry when cloying (full)
they are promiscuous". (Sahih Moslem) In another Hadith,
Mohammed is quoted as saying that Blacks are, " pug-nosed
slaves". (Sahih Moslem vol. 9, pgs. 46-47)
Islam Is Not A Haven Of Freedom And Equality
Even if we wrongly assume that Islam started in Africa and
that its Prophet was a Black man, this still would not in itself
be a good reason for Blacks to adopt Islam. Nor would it be a good reason for Whites to adopt Islam just because Mohammed was
white. We have to look at Islam itself. I wouldn't want to be
a Muslim because Islam is anti-freedom, which is one issue so
close to the hearts and minds of Africans all over the world.
One thing Islam does not believe in is freedom of religion.
If Islam takes over America or any other country, there wouldn't
be a choice of religion. The Quran states: "If anyone desires
a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him;
and in the hereafter, he will be in the ranks of those who have
lost." (Surah 3:85) Many of the teachings of Islam are incompatible
with progress and contradict common sense. Neither are they compatible
with human rights or civil rights. Here are a few examples of
the teachings of Islam:
- Men are superior to Women. (Sura 2:228)
- Women have half the rights of men:
a) -In court witness (Sura 2:282)
b) -In inheritance (Sura 4:11)
- A man may beat his wife. (Surah 4:34)
- A man may marry up to four wives at a time (polygamy). (Sura 4:3)
- Muslims must fight until their opponents submit to Islam. (Sura 9:5)
- A Muslim must not take a Jew or Christian for a friend. (Surah 5:54)
- A Muslim apostate must be killed. (Surah 9:12)
- Stealing is punished by amputation of hands. (Surah 5:41)
- Adultery is punished by public flogging. (Surah 24:2)
- No separation between church and state. (Surah 2:193)
- No opposition parties allowed. (Surah 4:59)
My Dear Africans And African-Americans:
Muslims don't care for your skin color, they are only using
that angle to gain control over you. For if Muslims really care
for Africans, then why are African Muslims kidnapping their African
Christian brothers these days in Sudan, butchering the weak and
selling the healthy as slaves? (see State Dept. report: News Network

I was reminded of all this recently when I read... of part of the dialogue carried on - perhaps in 1391 in the winter barracks near Ankara - by the erudite Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus and an educated Persian on the subject of Christianity and Islam, and the truth of both.
In the seventh conversation...the emperor touches on the theme of the holy war. Without descending to details, such as the difference in treatment accorded to those who have the "Book" and the "infidels", he addresses his interlocutor with a startling brusqueness on the central question about the relationship between religion and violence in general, saying: "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."
The emperor, after having expressed himself so forcefully, goes on to explain in detail the reasons why spreading the faith through violence is something unreasonable. Violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul. "God," he says, "is not pleased by blood - and not acting reasonably is contrary to God's nature. Faith is born of the soul, not the body. Whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats."

"Hinduism is said to divide people and in contrast, Islam is said to bind people together. This is only a half-truth. For Islam divides as inexorably as it binds. Islam is a close corporation and the distinction that it makes between Muslims and non-Muslims is a very real, very positive, and very alienating distinction. The brotherhood of Islam is not the universal brotherhood of man. It is the brotherhood of Muslims for Muslims only. There is a fraternity, but its benefit is confined to those within that corporation. For those who are outside the corporation, there is nothing but contempt and enmity. The second defect of Islam is that it is a system of social self-government and is incompatible with local self-government because the allegiance of a Muslim does not rest on his domicile in the country which is his but on the faith to which he belongs. To the Muslim ibi bene ibi patria [Where it is well with me, there is my country] is unthinkable. Wherever there is the rule of Islam, there is his own country. "Take the caste system. Islam speaks of brotherhood. Everybody infers that Islam must be free from slavery and caste. Regarding slavery, nothing needs to be said. It stands abolished now by law. But while it existed much of its support was derived from Islam and Islamic countries. But if slavery has gone, caste among Musalmans has remained. There can thus be no manner of doubt that the Muslim Society in India is afflicted by the same social evils as afflict the Hindu Society. Indeed, the Muslims have all the social evils of the Hindus and something more. That something more is the compulsory system of purdah for Muslim women."
Those who rightly commend Ambedkar for leaving the fold of Hinduism, never ask why he converted to Buddhism and not Islam. It is because he viewed Islam as no better than Hinduism. And keeping the political and cultural aspects in mind, he had this to say:"Conversion to Islam or Christianity will denationalise the Depressed Classes. If they go to Islam the number of Muslims will be doubled and the danger of Muslim domination also becomes real."
